In 1870 Buteressence was established and is now the oldest independent Dutch flavour company.

Since then we have distinguished ourselves by our creativity and innovation.

In the mid-1980, we moved from Amsterdam-Noord to Zaandam, where we moved into new premises

in 1997.

In the currant location we have modern laboratory facilities, an application laboratory and efficient production areas.
